Badgeball
Day with the Bucks!
The Cudahy and South Milwaukee Police Departments will be
playing their
annual Badgeball game on the Bradley Center court following the
conclusion of the Bucks game and other on-court activities!

The Badgeball game is scheduled to tip-off around 3:30pm.

The South Milwaukee Health Department is
holding a Blood Pressure and Cholesterol Screening
on Wednesday, March 17, 2010
1:30pm - 4:30pm.
This is for South Milwaukee residents only. The cost of
the cholesterol screen is $15.00 and provides a
non-fasting glucose, total cholesterol, HDL (High
Density Lipid), LDL (Low Density Lipid), triglyceride,
and ratio. There is no charge for a blood pressure
screen. Please call the Health Department for an
appointment at 414-768-8055. |

Zion Lutheran’s Community Easter for Kids,
Saturday, March 20, 2010
Zion Lutheran School offers a children’s
program each year in spring called, “Easter for Kids.” During
this children’s program for 3 years old (must be potty trained)
up thru 3rd grade, we focus on Jesus’ resurrection
and its meaning for our lives. We will also be having a
breakfast of sausage, French toast sticks and orange juice for
the children. During the event children will be making a craft
to take home for their parents. We will be having an exciting
scavenger hunt as well.
This children’s program is on Saturday, March 20th,
9:00-11:30a.m. at Zion Lutheran School

Community Concert

The South Milwaukee
Municipal Band will be celebrating their 75th Anniversary with
this special concert in March. Special guests will be the
Kilties Drum & Bugle Corps from Racine, WI. The Kilties are also
celebrating their 75th Anniversary in 2010.

Spring Market
Planned We are happy

Downtown Spring Market and Business Fair
on Saturday, April 10, at Bucyrus International,
1100 Milwaukee Avenue, South Milwaukee Wis.
The market,
which will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Heritage
Building, will feature many of the same vendors found at
the summer version of the market, including produce,
food, jewelry, art and craft vendors. It will also
feature a South Milwaukee Chamber of Commerce Business
Fair showcasing some of the city’s top merchants.
