TIME:     4:00 p.m. – Field Events
                 4:45 p.m. – Running Events

RAINE DATE:     Friday, May 28, 2010 (Time Schedule tbd)

BUS LEAVES         2:10 p.m.         BUS RETURNS:     around 8:45 p.m.

EXCUSED FROM CLASS:     1:55 p.m.

ORDER OF EVENTS:
        FIELD EVENT ORDER – 4:00 p.m. start

                    High Jump (Girls then Boys)

                    Long Jump (Girls then Boys)

                    Triple Jump (Boys then Girls)

                    Shot Put (Girls first then Boys)

                    Discus (Boys first then Girls)

                    Pole Vault (Boys first then Girls)

    RUNNING EVENTS – 4:45 p.m. start. Girls will precede the boys in all running events.

                3200 m. Relay
                30 minute break
                100/110 m. high hurdle finals
                100 m. dash finals
                1600 m. run
                4 x 200 m. relay
                400 m. dash
                4 x 100 m. relay
                300 m. low hurdles
                800 m. run
                200 m. dash
                3200 m. run
                4 x 400 m. relay


STATE MEET QUALIFIERS:     
                1. First three places in each event.
                2. Individuals and relay teams whose performances in the Sectionals rank among the eight (8) best of all
                    Sectional performances including the first three places in all Sectionals.

MEET PROCEDURES:       Upon arrival, run 2 warm-up laps.
                                                Warm-up with teammates in same events.
                                                Know when you compete - check order of events.
                                                Make sure you have all of your equipment.
                                                Be sure to show support for your teammates.
                                                Make sure you stretch after your final event.
                                                Report any injuries to a coach immediately.
                                                Be prepared to sub for an injured teammate.
                                                After last event, everyone runs 2 cool-down laps.

EATING PROCEDURES:       Bring fruit or energy bar to eat at the meet.

CLEAN-UP:     Make sure you collect all of your equipment.
                          Hold equipment for a teammate who is competing.
                          Make sure you help put equipment away before you leave.

ADMISSION:     Adults - $4.00;         Seniors/Students (1 – 12) - $3.00
                             T-Shirts will be on sale for around $10.00

NO RADIOS OR CELL PHONES OF ANY SORT ARE TO BE TAKEN TO ANY MEETS.
