Family Directory |
| The Blakewood PTO complies a family "phone directory" in
hopes of enabling parents and students to easily contact classmates or
friends and to encourage communication between parents in our Blakewood
School Family. |
| Block Parent
Programs |
| The purpose of the Block Parents Program is
to provide a friendly adult in time of need using their home as the safe
house for any child who may seek protection from danger. Examples
warranting assistance might be sheltering a child from a sudden storm, a
child being bullied or molested, becoming lost or injured, chased by stray
animal. Interested parties are encouraged to sign up. The
South Milwaukee Police Department provides the necessary back round
checks.

Scholarship |
| In a joint effort, the South Milwaukee
elementary school PTO's put together a $600 scholarship that is awarded
annually to graduating senior registered to enter a four year
college. Each PTO donates $150.

Prints |
| The Blakewood Paw Prints is a Bi-monthly
publication to all parents from the School Principal. School and PTO
news, lunch menus and upcoming events are included.
